April Lunch & Learn - The role of Government in creating change

  • Adelaide, South Australia Australia (map)

In our April Lunch & Learn we will be discussing the role of government in creating change! We will hear from leaders who work within Federal and State Governments to create positive social change, as well as a community engagement specialist with loads of experience in ensuring the community voice is heard in government policy decisions. We will discuss what role governments can, and should, play in creating change through policy and practice, how effective governments are in enabling change, and what we can do to influence change from the grassroots level.

Our panellists are:

Natasha Rees - Director, Disability and Carers, Australian Government Department of Social Services

Becky Hirst - Community Engagement Specialist from Becky Hirst Consulting

Matthew Taylor - Managing Director of MET Designs

Mary-Anne Healy - Director, Strategy, Department for Environment and Water
